Lesson Learned....

        I've been walked on,used and forgotten, but I don't regret one moment of it because in those moment, I've learned a lot. I've learned who I can trust and can't. I've learned the meaning of friendship. I've learned how to tell when people are lying and when they're sincere. I've learned how to be my self, and appreciate the truly great people in my life as they arrive.
        I must say that it is hard to build a friendship, because it takes a long time to grow an old friend. Trust is the most important thing in friendship and it is only built one single moment at a time.
        I am a very cheerful and friendly person that's why I can easily trust in the people around me. But one person change it, not only mine, but also the trust of my friends in her.
        We treated her as a true friend but she chose to break our friendship because of the small thing, and that small thing affected all of us including the family of my friend. That's why the trust was gone.
        Trust can never be easy to get back. It says in the chorus of the song "Choco Late",

        It is true that being honest may not get you a lot of friends but it'll always get you the right ones.
        I'd rather have a few true friends than a lot of fake crappy ones. I don't need any part time people in my life. You're either with me or you're not.

        I advice all of you to listen to people when they are angry because that is when the real truth comes out and in the end you will see who is fake and who is the real one that stays beside you no matter what happen.


        Hard times will always reveal true friend.... :)

LoHiTor Festival

Happy Centennial Year Tanza, Cavite!

February 28, 2014, is the celebrati on of  the  first century of  Tanza, Cavite that was named Santa Cru z de Malabon before. Because it is the 100^th year of Tanza, our mayor and the rest of his officials prepared so much for this special occasion and because of their collaborative effort and willingness to h ave a memorable celebration of our anniversary, they formed a word that suits to the tradition of Tanzanians every year in celebrating the feast of St. Augustine, the patron saint of Tanza which is the LoHiTor Festival. It sounds new to your ear isn’t it?

 

          The term lohitor came from the words lobo, higante, and toro that is named from one program that features street dancing which is one of the happiest and colorful part in celebrating the 100^th year anniversary of tanza.

          Lobo making is one of the products made by Tanzanians. It is a hot air balloons made from used papers and kerosene and it is being lit, it is safe because it is flown in the open air.

          Next is “Hi” which means higante that shows the artistic side of Tanzanians and because it is the 100^th years of our municipality, it is also our way of giving tribute.
          Lastly is “Tor”, it means toro or bull it is not totally bull because it is made from paper mache in which Tanzanians are known again for being artistic and creative.

         There’s a “lusis” around the toro and it symbolizes the fire cracker industry of Tanza and if you ignite it, it follows you like a bull or “toro”

          That’s the meaning of LoHiTor Festival.

Real Friends

Have you ever sat with your friends and feel that you’re the least important friend in the group and felt like it wouldn’t make a difference if you were there or not?

Why would you feel that thing?  Would you call yourself a true friend for them? If you are a true friend, you should treat your friends as a family because a true friend cares like a mom, scolds like a dad, teases like a sister, irritates like a brother, and loves more than a lover.

I remember the time that even I am the youngest among my friends I care for them like a mom or a mother. When my best friend was sick and she were unable to come to school, I was so worried about her but I was unable to show her how worried I am because I’m not a showy person. Instead I cook for her and before I come to school, I told her to take her medicine.
          I scold also like a father sometimes because one of my friends can’t help but to burp so loud every time we’re eating. She was like a frog!  Now every time she burps, she already knows that there is someone who may get angry if she does it so loud again. J

I also tease like a sister. I have a friend who is often the center of my jokes. I always tease her that she was look like a bulldog or should I say WE always tease her. But we all know that a true friend never get offended when you tease them instead, they find fooler words to say about you and you were all ended up in laughing with each other.

Sometimes I irritated like a brother, when we are chatting with each other or when they were saying a story, I sometimes interrupt them by saying “oh?, talaga?, saan?, kelan? etc.” They get irritated once but the irritation doesn’t stay long because we need each other more than pride and we love each other more than a lover.
          True friends are the only person who never gets tired of listening to your own pointless dramas even if you said it over and over again. J

Did you and your friends come to the point that you stare at each other and laugh even there were no words that comes from you and her mouth? Seems funny right? J

The gestures you do when someone attractive walks before you? J

We all have that one friend who always gives the best relationship advice but is still single, did we? In our group, it’s me. I always kept on advising them when they have a relationship problem. They ask that why am I good in telling advice even if I am single?  That’s one of the reasons why they push me to have a boyfriend or to be the boyfriend of their brothers. They’re so “Bugaw!” J

Yeah we act like idiots, we laugh two hard and make complete fools of our selves, but that’s why we’re true friends!

             I can’t say that I am a perfect friend, but as long as I can, I will be the best and the truest friend for my friends. I LOVE THEM SOOOO MUCH!

   Choosing My Course

        When I was a kid, I had a dream of being a teacher someday. Me and my playmates always play "Teacher-teacheran", they play as a student and I aways play as a teacher. There were so many books,notebooks,chalkboard and even class cards. I graded my student according to the result of their exams.We also had a graduation that time.

         When i was a kid, it seems that it is so easy to choose on what profession i want.

 

         When I was in third year high school, we had an exam for us to know what course were suited for us and also to help us in choosing our course in college. When the result came, it says that I am fitted to be a teacher. But when I reached fourth year, my dream of being a teacher has gone because of some reasons. I realized the advantages and disadvantages of being a teacher. When I finished high school, I don't know what to enroll at college, my parents were asking me on what course do I like and I said I don't know. I was so confused that time. Then my father said that I should take agriculture because it is in demand inside and outside of our country. So I decided to enrolled at Cavite State University and took up Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.

         At first, when someone ask me on what course am I taking, I was so ashamed to say that I am an Agriculture student because not everyone knows about agriculture, they don't even know that there's an agriculture course and when they hear that course, the only one thing that comes into their mind is Farming.

         I remember when someone ask about my course, and i said that my course is agriculture, she said that "Ano, magsasaka ka lang?" "Nag aral kapa kung magsasaka kalang pala." some reactions were "may course bang ganon?" I felt so down that time, my tears run down on my face and I walked out and cry. I feel so deprived and discriminated that time.
         But now, as the time passed by, I am enjoying this course because I am more familiarized with the subjects especially in animal science and with the help of my friends, I believe that we can finish this course and we can be successful someday and I can prove to the people who judge me before, that here I am, standing in front of you, the woman you've judge before is now one of the successful agriculturist today and I don't have any regrets in choosing my course.

The greatest pleasure in life, is doing or achieving things that people say you can't do..
